Permitting, the cocktail party will be in person at the Longview Country Club on Friday, December 3rd at 6pm. All bidding for the Festival of Trees Auction (whether from home or at the cocktail party) will be conducted through the Greater Giving online bidding portal, with the exception of the Raise the Paddle (fast paced fundraising for one specific local charity).
At the cocktail party, you will be able to view all silent auction items, wreaths, & tabletop trees (full size trees will be in local businesses, see public viewing below). At the cocktail party, you will also have the option to buy raffle tickets with the chance of winning a pair of stunning diamond earrings donated by the Diamond Showcase or a wheelbarrow of surprise holiday cheer. All cocktail party attendees must also register online to bid. QR codes have been included – one to purchase tickets to the cocktail party & one to register to bid on auction items.
Online Auction
The Festival of Trees auction will be hosted on the Greater Giving platform. All bidding on full size trees, table top trees, wreaths, & auction items will be conducted online. Everyone at the cocktail party or at home will be bidding together online. Registration for the auction is free! Credit cards will be charged only for purchases or donations made upon the conclusion of the auction. Register to bid online using the QR code provided.
Festival of Trees Public Viewing
Join us for “First Thursday” downtown Longview on Commerce Ave; the Public Viewing is free and open to everyone. On the evening of Thursday, December 2nd, the Junior League of Lower Columbia will partner with businesses in downtown Longview to offer a special holiday event including discounts, treats, and holiday celebration. The full size trees will be on display in businesses, downtown Longview the week leading up to the auction. Raffle tickets for the diamond earrings & wheel barrow full of holiday cheer will be available for purchase. Come downtown to see the trees available for auction, shop local & support local businesses!
